Good News!
The latest update is that A.J. will be going on a 10 day leave starting on Sat. There is a small airport close to the hospital and a pilot of a small plane has volunteered to fly him to Fort Campbell on Sat. He is actually going to attempt to go on a hunting trip the day after Thanksgiving. He is doing well and he thinks it will be fine. Of course as his mom I am a little concerned. He plans to drive his truck back to Augusta after his leave. Hopefully on Friday he will find out how much longer he will been in hospital, as he has an ortho appt. He is still shooting for the second week of Dec. I know he will be very excited to be in his home again. I am posting a link today so if anyone is interested you can take part in it.

Wea are excited to see A.J. again this year for the deer hunt after Thanksgiving..Everything is going to be fine mom so do not worry ..We will make sure A.J. is well taken care of ..This will be some of the best medicine he has had so far.Had a blast with them last year and looking to do the same this year..
ReplyDeleteYes Mom I agree that AJ will be fine and he needs to see how well the rehab has been, that way he can focus on what the next needs need to be. He will be fine, and the guys will take care of him.
